A DECADE OF ART

The Art of Collecting: A Decade in Plein Air celebrates the collectors who have helped shape the Gloucester Arts Festival over the past decade.

Featuring more than 120 paintings generously loaned by over 100collectors, the exhibition brings together works by more than 75 plein air artists.

Organized by theme rather than artist or year, the exhibition offers a unique perspective on Gloucester through the places, light, and moments that collectors chose to preserve.

Together, these paintings tell the story of a decade of art, community, and the lasting connection between artists and those who bring their work home.
